The HP-QTP / UFT tool is used to perform functional automated regression testing of web-based applications. Unix / Linux log validation using window based applications, mobile applications, database testing, web services, mainframe (TE) applications, and putty.
The latest version of HP-QTP (Quick Test Professional) is known as HP-UFT (Unified Functional Tester). After this training you can clear the QTP certification exam (HP0-M47).
As part of 10Daneces, the goal is to implement a real-time automated test life cycle during training. This is because you do not want to include the Mercury Flight Reservation application as part of your training. It is not designed by the HP-QTP / UFT guidelines and is not designed by the client, resulting in more complex scenarios. The HP-QTP / UFT tool designs automation scripts using QTP-provided features and VB scripts.
Post completion of this training students can go for QTP(UFT) certification by HP. This is meant for QuickTest professionals who wish to gain mastery in Testing tools by HP called QuickTest. This helps them get recognized in the automation jobs market.
Design POC (Proof of Concept): This process is used to ensure the automation feasibility of the client application.
Convert a manual test case to an automated test case using a VB script.
Design automation test framework (keyword-driven, data-driven and hybrid frameworks) according to client requirements or application behavior.
Integrate HP-QTP / UFT with HP-QC / ALM.
Create a test suite / test batch and follow the same steps.
Analyze automated test results. Report a failure.
Update the automation script according to the change request (if any).
